Factory must hold ISO 9001 certificate audited by ABNT-accredited body. Label in Portuguese: "Evite contato com olhos" plus recycling symbol RIC 5. Lead time 45 days after lab submission; cost USD 2,500 per SKU.
Shipments without SCI face 18 % import surcharge. Lock certificate before quoting Brazilian buyers to avoid demurrage.
